Rose Haggar Park
- Features: Park located within a neighborhood. Climbing playground for older children, tennis courts, basketball court, softball field, pavilion with picnic tables

- Directions: In North Dallas on Campbell Road, just south of Frankford Road, next to Haggar Elementary School
- Hours: 5 AM to 11 PM

- Tips: Except for the baby swings, the playground is not for toddlers. The parking lot has only a few spaces, but if the elementary school next door is not in session, there are more spaces.
Harvest Run Park
- Features: Neighborhood park with covered playground, pavilion with picnic tables, large open field, and sidewalk running around the whole park
- Address: 4334 Spurwood Drive, Carrollton, TX 75010
- Directions: North of Hebron Parkway between Josey and Marsh
- Hours: 5 AM to 10:30 PM
- Cost: Free

- Tips: Busy on weekday afternoons. The swings and some slides are baby-friendly.

Coppell Nature Park
- Features: Large area with dirt nature trails tucked away within a sports complex. There's a Biodiversity Education Center.
- Address: 367 Freeport Parkway, Coppell, TX 75019
- Directions: Off Sandy Lake Road, within Wagon Wheel Park
- Hours: The Education Center is open every other day.
- Cost: Free

- Tips: Wonderful place for a walk! Hardly muddy even after a week of rain. If you like this place, it's similar to Elm Fork Nature Preserve.
Josey Ranch Athletic Complex
- Features: The Carrollton Green Trail wraps around two large ponds with boardwalks next to the Josey Ranch Lake Library. There is a military Veterans Memorial area, a small nature trail to mimic Texas Blackland Prairie, and multiple sports fields.

- Directions: Off Josey and Keller Springs. Park at the library.
- Hours: 5 AM to 10:30 PM
- Cost: Free

- Tips: Walking the full loop (both ponds) is about two miles, and the Green Trail continues in both directions towards WJ Thomas Splash Park and Jimmy Porter Park (where the playground is).
