- Features: Several miles of over ten different hilly dirt trails with great views of Joe Pool Lake and other smaller ponds.

- Hours: Closed on Mondays; Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 6:30 AM to dusk
- Cost: Free, but a donation of $3 per person is suggested at the entrance/exit.

- Tips: This preserve is the best chance to feel like you are hiking a mountain. Very popular on weekends and holidays, but it's large enough to have your own space, especially if you take the longer trails.
